Idiot v1 rare monsters!!!

I've come across two types of v1 rare monsters over 575 hrs.
Al Rappy
Nar Lily

Al Rappy gave a FLOWENS SHIELD very cool if you can find all the FLOWENS parts which I will/can never do.

Nar Lily on two seperate occasions gave one:2236 meseta Pure Garbage at my level and meseta bank. Two:Warrior/Body

My goodness the pain of finding these elusive creatures and to get nothing to show for it? madness ensued after me and teammate flashed our Yes! Cool! symbol signs for the sheer laughter of it all.

My HUmar smacked around thousands of Boomas and later on two seperate occassions they dropped Parasite Wear:Nelgal 0 slot and 2 slot. This was with REDRIA on v-hard. I was shocked to see I had gotten a better item from the first enemy of the game: a Booma than from two elusive Nar/Red Lilys.

Anyone else had similar maddening results? or am I just an unlucky, though experienced PSO v1 player?

Ver1 = Sonic Teams first outing.

The games unbalanced in many aspects upon it's release, and yes out of all the rare monsters ive seen almost all of them dropped garbage.

Defend- Any chance you're referring to LuvSlave?

Hildetorrs drop Frozen Shooter and Mil Lilly drop Yasminkov 3000R. Rare enemies rarely drop items, so get used to it.

I am soo used to it. But that's sad: all the hours put into find a rare monster leaves you with nothing to show for it unless you do the "PSO picture trick."(hold x,y,start, after inserting a free space mem card into slot 2 of controller D)

Well they do drop items but crappy ones at best.

I have seen 5 Nar Lilys, 3 Al Rappys, and one Red Poufully (spelling, i know) and the only good things were from 2 Als, a proto regen gear, and a few hours later, a regen gear. I was happy. Ive only ever seen 2 Pal Rappys and 1 Al Rappy in all my 250+ hours of PSO for some reason. The 2 Pal's only ever gave me Meseta that pissed me off.

I saw 1 Nar Lilly and 1 Al Rappy. The Nar lilly dropped a Hero/Ability. It was awsome because it was before PSO poisoned.

The only rare monster I've saw in my game once is the Pal Rappy. This first Pal Rappy in my game gave me a Sound Source FM, and I've lost it in online from FSOD >_<

Yeah most of the time they were unsuccessful in finding any. But it was good fun, we had about 18 games full of about 2 people each searching.

New characters always seem to have all the luck in finding rare monsters, my newly made HUnewearl ran into a Nar Lilly in Cave 1 then a Pouilly Slime in Cave 2, Nar Dropped Knight/Power and Slime dropped GiBarta 6.

I've never seen a Torr, but my only Pal Rappy dropped 2300+ meseta, thats the day I got sorely pissed and stopped being legit.

One post sounded like they hadn't heard of it. Simple a rifle type, quite big, freezes the user on occasion like Yam confuses.. but the big draw is its special, freeze enemy. Never. Ever. Misses.

Now that I've tried a real one... Malk is a wrong mofo heh.. this gun absolutely owns everything.. though I know he's talking in terms of Ult, where I pretty much play PSO for the full level battles.. And this Frozen Shooter... its just god. It creates the most god damn hilarious battles I've ever seen... NOTHING in the reset rules compares to the mess our rule 1s are starting to produce.. while managing to always keep even teams.

Heh with that kind of thinking you wouldn't last long anyway.. one PAL Rappy sheesh. I've seen about 15, missed 3 ssfms, finally got one offline.
Rare animals pretty much drop rare items as infrequently (in terms of time) as other baddies.
PAL Rappies are an exception though, but like you need 114 Red Slimes for a Twin Blaze... its just not going to happen no matter how much you expect it.
Do 20 Forests a night and expect around 30, yes 30 months to pass before a Frozen Shooter should appear. 85000 Hidelts.

The rare system is bs yes.. but I will say that after all these months, the people I've always played with are still enjoying it.. and .. well if rares weren't so insanely rare, nothing would be impressing us anymore. But as it is.. Just this month we've all been blown away by a FOUR Slot Lum Field, like the 4th v2 Armour anyone's ever found.. then a Smoking Plate! My FOnewm mate always has been dying to find one, so when FOmarl mate (also finder of Lum) got the Smoking, he gave it to FOnewm.
And now the Frozen Shooter. Just these 3 things.. amazing us despite having played the same piece of software for so long.
So as stupid as the rare system is.. its long term effect really is working.

But ffs some things are just stupid. 1.1 million Sinow Reds? Yehhhhhh..... -_-;;

IMHO the rares that hit about the 1 in 3-400K mark are as rare as it should get. These are insanely rare as it is, you'll never ever find anything like this no matter how hard you look.
So many good rares in v2 that are worse than this.. er.. makes it suck. Yes.

We don't use state mait Rhete.. we disallow it so we can still play with traps and specials basically. In turn we disallow jellen and zalure to keep it fair on droids. It saves alot of s/d/j/z warz too.. which really almost killed BA for some of us.. (we still can't find a good way to play rule 5 with teams of mixed support levels).

Heh most of us don't use state mait at all.. what a gameplay-ruining item imho.

When you find a rare monster you gotta make it last cause they are gonna give you crap most likely and your gonna get pissed off. What yay gotta do is fight it "croc hunter" style with 4 people surronding it and fighting it with just your fists...fun...

One gave FLAME VISIT which is garbage and the other gave meseta, also worthless.

Umm.. get a Whitill ID, and you'll get all of the Flowens set alike myself

2 Flowens Shield (not from Als, but from Savage and Rag)
1 Flowen's Frame from Salvage
Too Many Flowens Sword to count with excellent percents.

My guy rules the battlefield when all of these are equipped in v1. Chaos Bringer's shot barely even scratches my hp if it hits me which only happened once when I tested the Flowen's theory out.

What were the %'s on the one your friend found defend? The one i got from my 2nd torr in my oran game after tekking was 50% a beast and 35% machine, best legit rare i'll ever find i know that for sure...

I usually seem to find things like this when least expected... I found a Hildblue which yielded a soul eater (good % too) when playing online by myself waiting for some friends to come along. Later that night there was an Al Rappy too! I wasn't even wearing a ranger field at the time either...
