can anyone tell me about a secret room in caves 3? I was watching my friend play online and he goes "hey watch this and walks through a wall" it was one of those doorways without a door in caves 3 so if anyone know about it please tell me.

Yes, they are seen in the online quest of Towards the Future. (TTF) Among others...

cool i never knew there was a secret room in caves 3 of TTF which room is it located in?

Very first room, just keep moving straight after beating the Dragon in Forest. There is also one in Mines 2; in the Sinow room.

Yes, they make other enemies appear. For example:

Hidden room in Caves 3 = Evil Shark appears in the previous room.

Hidden room in Mines 2 = Sinow Gold appears in the previous room. =)

Also, several Cmode stages have a hidden wall on occasion.
