Majora's Mask had that one area where you could fight those special monsters behind it's area, or was that a different place?...

Halo 2 has the Energy Sword by a waterfall in Ivory Tower...

In Ocarina of Time, the entire Zora city is behind that one waterfall. You have to play the right song to make the waterfall stop flowing, of course, before you can get in.

Like someone stated in Ocarina of Time, have something behind a waterfall.

In Four Swords for GC, there are waterfalls with caves behind 'em.

Legend of Zelda for NES, there's a cave behind the waterfall.

In the Wind Waker for GC, there's a sage in a cave behind a waterfall.

Link to the Past for SNES, also have a hidden cave behind a waterfall that lead to a Great Fairy (hmm, got to check out waterfalls in every Zelda game it seems like).

In Mario Kart 64, on the beach track there's a cave lead to out of a waterfall.

In Super Mario 64, there's a cave in a waterfall beside the castle.

And in PSO even, there's an area of boxes behind it from Ruins 1.

its actually a challenge thinking of a game with a waterfall that doesn't have some sort of secret behind it.

while reading everyones posts i was racking my brains thinking of a waterfall that didn't have a secret. best i could come up with is the waterfall in the mountain level of doa3, but its just scenery and non-interactive.

and a waterfall in a half-life 1 mod. might have been 'they hunger' can't remember. but that hardly counts since. well. its a mod.

if thats the first rule, the second must be: if theres a barrel, it must be explosive!

Now if I ever make a game, there needs to be a waterfall in the game. And it will be SO hard to get to a point where you can get behind it, and you get something awesome. Yes, that's what I'll say.
