Armor and Shield for my Ramar

i was looking at the suggested equipmen for a ranger and i am just wondering if anyone else agrees if those should be the items i should go for. i have a guard wave now and a custom barrier thing. any suggestions from any of you?

I'd consider the guide...um...defective for RAmars(Sense Plate and Combat Gear)?

For armor, Guard Wave is fine until you can trade up to a Luminous Field, DF Field, Virus Armor: Lafuteria or Aura Field.

Shieldwise, you'll want an Attribute Wall at a lower level, a Shield of Delsaber for when you're confronting Megid-heavy areas (Temple, for example, if you happen to be a Purplenum), and at higher levels something along the lines of a Standstill Shield.

(Note: I'm recommending on statistics alone. There are plenty of people who'd never touch an Aura Field and Standstill Shield combo simply 'cause they think they're ugly.)

LF is a good armor and for shield it depends on what area. Temple/towers/caves delsaber shield.

Other areas go for a standstill. If for looks go for whatever you thinks looks best on him.

Standstill Shield if you can get a Viridia player would be a great help. Would look great on a RAmar, (hell,i have it on a Huney http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) I don't think Tripolic Shield is too bad either, but probably a bit harder to find, with no rare enemy drops.
