I was just curious how ppls watch their movies at home. Some ppls are hardcore Widescreen, like me. While others can't stand Widescreen and preferr Fullscreen.

I prefer widescreen. A few of my movies are in fullscreen, though. =/

I just bought the Back to the Future Trilogy @Sam's Club. Oddly enough it didn't say anywhere on the box if it was Full or Wide. So I bring it home and it's Full of course! Before I could return it, my son got ahold of the packaging and now I"m stuck w/the Fullscreen version of the BAck to the Future Trilogy. I'll probably end up watching it, but I'll be grumbling all the way about what I'm missing on the sides. . . .

Yeah, widescreen for me too. I don't like thinking about missing stuff on the sides. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Doesn't matter to me, because the first time I was asked if I wanted to see that movie in full or wide, I was 15 years old, and I exclaimed "Who gives a fuck?"

Heh, yeah I'm not totally anal about it, but if I'm making a DVD purchase, I prefer widescreen.

I prefer widescreen because it acutally shows you everything. Without widescreen you can't really see how great the cinematography(sp?) is. However, old films like Bambi were made in fullscreen so I wouldn't expect anything else. Yet artist pained away making Sleeping Beauty in technarama, so I want to see their hard work!

widescreen.

full screen is all well and good, if the movie/show your watching was shot in full screen and your not going to be missing parts of the picture!

PEACE!!!
