This says that a new boot disk called "Freeloader" is coming out around August. So now for those of you who don't have a JP or modded GC but want JP GC PSO, it should be possible in time.

I dunno... Modding is better but more expensive hhhm... I'll have to wait and see what happens, if it works that is, if it does, then my friend could get import PSO ^o^ Well August will tell I guess.

I just don't understand the idea of saving a bit of money and choosing to have to swap discs every time you boot up PSO. I'd go for the switch any day of the week. You push it once and never again unless you want to revert back to US mode.

Yes but alot of ppl dont trust sending thier gamecube anywhere and alot of ppl dont trust themselves to mod it, so the safest thing for their GC is a Boot Disk. im happy becuase now theres probably going to be more importers

Well aren't you a pissy little bitch. You might want to get that rappy's dick out of your ass before you make posts on the board.

Now run along, before I say something mean.

I see. So in other words, you didn't really want to leave, you were just having a temper tantrum.

Want me to go find your pacifier before you cry again?

How gay is that.

Actually, I agree with Parn. Why bother with the inconvenience? Some of us play PSO quite a bit, and it would become tiresome constantly changing CDs.

Why would people be to lazy to switch disks? It's not to hard, but i guess i can see the logic of the switch.

Well the disk can get lost, stolen, eaten, scratched, spilt something on it, dog craped on it, brother farted on it, cracked, and millions of other things.

Where does this notion of laziness come from? I'd say it takes more effort for me to go to work and earn money to pay for the modification on my GameCube, purchase the game, or whatever. Hardly "lazy" to want to avoid doing something unnecessary.

That's the whole point behind my original post. You'll save yourself the annoyance of having to swap over and over... and over......... and over. Particularly since this isn't exactly a game we play once in awhile.

It's your choice in the end though. My final word on the matter... I already have a modded 'cube. *shrug*

I just thought Googles response was very funny, i didnt say i was 100% behind it. but anyway it is alot more work for a Mod becuase getting the money sucks ass.

The chip mod can't load PAL games.
There isn't chip mod for PAL gamecubes
Chip mod is a little more expensive
Some people doeasnt like to mod their gamecubes

You see there are reasons for a boot disc to be good too

after my dad crakced open my GC today for modding i wished i would have just bought a boot disk..... Seeing my Gamecube in pieces on the table shocked me! im scarred for life.....

(hasn't laughed this hard since...can't rmemeber lol)
anyway i'm glad there is a boot disc. i don't feel like sending m f***** gamecube out to get modded or openeing the piece of shit up either. i'm glad there is now a bootdisc. and now i will actually import probably.

I lived with disk swap on Dreamcast v2, i can live with it on GC Episodes I&II
