So having little prior experience, I've decided that I want to do a webcomic. Having little artistic ability, this has been quite the challenge.

I've spent a few weeks developing my art from stick figures to what you see below you.

And I think its fair to say I've come quite a ways o:

All the same, I'll do better next time. Comments? (forgive its style-ize-ed-y-ness, she doest have a mouth for a reason!) http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Stop trying to master everything! Jerk!

Nice lines, color, and style. A tad unproportioned (porportioned? whatever), though.

Oozes with style.

Yeah proportions are sorta off, nothing to cry about.

I'd botch about how it was done but i am no better at PS http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Uh, the color scheme is sorta odd, Pink/Purple. This is a neat contrast.

heh, I like the contrast myself. It prevents things from becoming monotinous and dull. -_-;

Porportions, yesh, still working those out. While some of it is style, some of it is mistake. I have some bad habits that I shall be trying to break. But like I said.

I'll do better next time http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I like it, if you started off with just stick figures then you've come quite a way. And you seem to have a decent grip on photoshop too. I wouldnt beat yourself up over proportions just yet, so many rules can be bent or broken in the name of style (I sound like Morpheus T___T) And really it will all come in time with practice anyway. keep up the good work.

Sounds too good to be true, though it is.

I just dont want to end up like one of the many who use the name of style as an excuse for poor effort, or even worse, not caring about the art at all.

Thanks, I have a rather positive out look for this. I keep getting better as long as I keep drawing, and as long as I keep being motivated, I can do whatever I wish with my work. The thought of what you are able to do with a blank sheet of paper and a pencil is enough to fill me. (even though I use a mouse, paint, and photoshop http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

Heh, looking at art the art I look up to, thats also a big source of inspiration.

Hey, from stick figures to what you have here in only a few weeks, is incredible. Trust me.
