What gaug of wire?

For self modding my GC i dont know what gauge of wire to get.. the wire i got was too big and my guideonly says "thin wire" ....but thats totally relative so i dont know. Can anyone help?

Best suggestion is go to Radio Shack and tell them exactly what your doing, they should have a good supply on hand and know, generally, what you will need to use. I'm assuming 12 gauge or higher.

If my memory serves me correctly, to mod a US GameCube to play Japanese games, you just have to solder two prongs together.

Unless, that is, you're going for the little external switch to flip-flop between US and Japanese games...
