hey i thought it would be cool on talking about how you raised your mag, without a mag cell and techniques on raising them for the most benifits for your class

I am Greenil so I ended up creating Kama I mainly fed him mate items and star atomizers his he is now level 200 with max iq and sycro has suped attack med def and evp and 1 mst.

i was trying to raise Naraka then all of a sudden it change to Marica because i put it on a whitill char... i was like dam lol then all a sudden it changed AGAIN to Kumara and now its lvl 71 and looks like a giant clam

I have to give the talk again.

Every 5 levels after lvl 50, a Mag checks to see if the balance of POW-DEX-MIND has shifted in favor of another stat. If this is true, the Mag will change. Also, if someone different feeds the Mag, it will change on the spot.

ok so say like i got a sato and change the char it was on would the different section id change the mag or no because it has stoped leveling

No, the Mag would not change. Rare mags, once created, cannot evolve again, unless you use a Mag cell on them.

No, rare mags won't evolve from cells. I've tried on my Sato, and the cell could not be used.

Synchro is, to say the least, how much your Mag likes you. The more Synchro your Mag has, the more likely it is to perform its special abilities (Resta, Shifta/Deband, Invulnerability, and Reverser). IQ (Intelligence Quotient) determines how long said special abilities/effects last.

IQ influences ability triggers and lasting effects.

Synch also influences abilities, but it is minor.
IQ also effects Photon Blasts, but it is minor.

Aimed for sts and fed it whatever kept the stats what I wanted. And got it.

30/100/30/40
IQ 200
SYNC 120% - but it doesnt stay because it goes down after time so I feed it Moon Atomizers every now and then.


In training: from Lv5 MAG to Lv200 with just Star Atomizers =) Lv 27 so far...=)

Personally, I forget about IQ and Sync until my mag is lvl 200. It's much easier to manage that way, but that's my opinion. Everyone else probably has the opposite. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Basically, since I was gonna play PJ as melee, I raised solely power (Not knowing that it'd be hard to hit at Ultimate), but at the same time I also raised a mind mag (Which made PJ casting until 11x). Right now I have a lvl 200 mag on my main character, a hucaseal. I had on her a Savitri, but since mind was higher than dex I moved it over to another character. Right now im working on making a Savitri with a minimal mind stat and its working really well. Once my mag became a Kama I just feed him antiparalysis and only my defense stat will go up. It's gonna take awhile to evolve, but I'll have a Savitri with a defense of 49 and a mind of 1. Im not sure how im gonna balance out my power or dexterity right now.

I raised some single-stat mags by only giving the right food (not always the same, sometimes different food to prevent it from levelling in a bad stat), and banking it after each feeding (that's one mate/fluid/anti/atom, not three).
The guides didn't know how to do that.
But raising mags is easy. You shouldn't even need guides or topics like these to figure it out. There are feeding charts, ability/PB guides, and evolution guides. Why would you need a guide to tell you exactly what to feed it at what moments?

I have 3 lvl 200 mags, 100 dex, 80 power, 20 defense which is on my RAcast(bhirava) atm, I use this one the most the because its so hard to hit in ultimate. I have a 50/50/50/50 on my HUnewearl(nidra,love invinciblity), wish it had more dex but meh, its good enuff for most of ultimate. And a 6 defense, 54 dex, 140 mind(Kabanda) I use on my FOmarl, going magic atm since all my melee untis are on other chars. mmm I do like dex.
