ALright say if u pick up a hacked item not knowing it rite. But u sell it because your a legit player does that mean your hacked also. And is it true that when you are hacked you will not be able to find any rares on your own.

Well during the time you have it, the item makes you unlegit. "Hacked" is a term commonly abused to much on PSO. Selling it to a friend would make him unlegit, while cleaning your slate. I would give him a refund, and dispose of the weapon. I use to be legit. So that's just what I would do.

My stance on the whole legit thing:

If you didn't hack it, didn't know it was hacked when you got it, payed a reasonable price for it, and aren't hurting anyone with it, then you're not cheating or unlegit.

But many people will disagree with me on that.

I can see the logic in that. However, the game can't. If you're on PSOX or PSO+, the game will see the item that is beyond the game parameters and stop the drops.

That is a rumor. I use hacked weapons and mags a lot. Rares still drop. The only time rare drops stop is when the maker of a game is using a hacked mag.

Yesterday I traded some guy a stink frame for a J-SWORD. After we traded I examined it and found it was hacked (although he claims it was ligit. It had a 100% against everything except mutants. I decided to test the "no rares drop" theory. I went into ragol and In my first run through the forest. POW ... Pal rappy and I got the frigin red partisan that I made 80 runs in the past to get with no success. In the mines I cracked open a box and there was a Diska of Braveman.

Not all hacked items are detected. Just some that are well outside the parameters of the game. Having 100% in 3 areas is not outside the games parameters at all, although 100 Hit is suspicious. Online you can add to %s, so making a 3x100 is very well possible. Costly, but possible.
So, I wouldn't go so far as to saying it is a hack, although it could be. I will definitely say it is probably a dupe. No person in his right mind would trade something as rare as a J-Sword for just a Stink Frame. Especialy not one with 3x100 on it. I know Stink Frame is rare, but no match for the J-Sword.

Also, for GC this is only if the team leader is using PSO+. And even then, posssible, as Legato2471 says when the leader is the one with the detected hack. Not entirely sure, but I think PSOX has the same stuff in it as PSO+.
