I lost
Huceasel lvl 134
Ramar lvl 128
Humar Lvl 60
Fomar lvl 60
i lost ALOT OF GOOD ITEMS!!!
if anyone has a reason why my data died, please let me know so I can avoid this problem again.

Instead of asking A question about where this shoudl belong you could atleast try to give an explanation.

Sorry about that. Where are my manners?

Anyway, does anyone know if there is a way for FSOD to inadvertently happen offline? Maybe that was it.

Hm.. dunno what corrupted you since nothing would have been saving at the time.

Could be a disc read error, but again nothing was saving so it doesn't explain corruption.

Is it a third party memory card like Madcatz? Or an official Nintendo one?

Well, I have a guess. When the game freezes like that, it's commonly referred to as FSOD (Frozen Screen Of Death). Maybe there was a tiny glitch that caused it and corrupted your memory card when you turned the game off.

no I got a Nintendo memory card. and can FSOD happen offline too, or a type of it?

That's why I called it a guess. I'm not sure if FSOD only happens online.

It happens offline too. It has happened to me in the middle of gameplay more than once. Never lost characters or any important stuff because of it, though. That seems very unlucky, even strange.

ditto, its happened to me a couple of times too. So far I have only lost Meseta and a Dbl Saber. Not too shabby for the likes of FSOD

-_-

There is no FSOD offline.

When you do get frozen offline, that is either a hardware problem, or a dirty disc.

But other than that... nothing was saving, so all I can say is, "wtf?"
