Ep2 Rare Monsters

I have never encountered any rare monsters in ep.2. I was wondering, since there aren't any offline quests where enemies appear very frequently, what is the best way of finding rare monsters in ep.2?
Do you just pipe when you luckily find a decent number of rappies, lillies, or hildebears?

I see many rare enemies in Episode II.

You can get a good chance at rare enemies running Respective Tomorrow quests - the Ep 2 version of TTF.

I have also seen an unusually high number of rare enemies in c-mode. Pisses you off, really: "where the hell were you in my last game, sob. You're just slowing me down now!"

Anyway after having the read the content in the link, I now see that hunting down rare monsters in ep.2 is not worth it.

I have no idea what is wrong!!!
I piped like 20 times in a Temple room that had three rappies and never did I find a love rappy!
I really must have bad luck, as I have also beaten the dragon in very hard like 12 times and never gotten the Yamato.
What is wrong?!!

Rare enemies are ~1/512 chance. 20 pipes is only 60 Rappies.

Piping can take between 1 pipe and several days.

20 times is not NEARLY enough. Especially for three rappies. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

Rare enemy appearance is around 1/512, so you'd need like 170 pipes in the room for a rare rappy AT LEAST.

Also, 12 times is not nearly enough also for Yamato.

alcors ur not alone when it comes to gettin the yamato and finding any type of rare monster ( but i got a musashi 25+ so im fine for now)heheheheheheh
