View Full Version : Mag + Shifta = WTF?

This is a question I've been meaning to ask for a while.

I've noticed that while I have shifta, the game says that if I unequip my mag I get an ATP boost, which doesn't seem to make any sense (thus the question). Just what exactly is going on?

I have that problem too. When I use Shifta or Deband, it says my ATP or DEF will be higher if I unequip my weapon or barrier/frames. I was wondering about that too.

It will say the same when you try to equip or unequip anything. Ignore it, it's a lie.

I figured as much. I want to know why it shows the boost.

Yeah, it've confused me before too. Another thing is I've noticed that a some weapons have more boost from Shifta than of other weapons. O.o

Well, that's not a bug...it has to do with whether a weapon has variable ATP or fixed ATP. It's....sorta complicated and I don't really know the specifics, but I guess the variable weps get more boost from shifta.

I think.

It's covered in Ketchup's sticky. Doesn't answer my question, though.

I believe your question is already answered. There's really no why, a glitch is a glitch and let it be at that to answer your question. It is just there as a human flaw.
