No problem, thats what this place is all about. Anyways, why did you need to know the name of Sephiroth's Sword?

I don't think it's a regular Murasame because it's almost 1/4X taller then him but thats all it says.

Yeah, its different Sephiroth's Masamune is the like the Masamune in Chrono Triger. An the Murasame is a cheap version of the Masamune like the Agtio an the Orotiagtio.

as far as i know, the masamune and the murasame are equal blades.

the difference is:
when you stick the masamune into a riverbed with leafs floating on the waters surface, every leaf will float around the blade.
when you stick the murasame into that river, it will cut every leaf into half.

these both blades are supposed to be legendary katana.

Here's another bit of info for you...

Murasami is also the name of a character in the anime Giant Robo, a spy whose ability was Immortality, no matter what happens to his body, he will come back to life!

And actually, I thought this topic was about a character in PSO called Sephiroth looking for an original name to give a favourite sword or something...

In which case I would have suggested "Carvin' Marvin"...

Actually, Masamune is the name of a REAL japanese swordsmith long ago. His line of swords was thought to be the best in all the world. Murasame is also the name of his Rival, i think. Either way, Both are regarded as legendary.

Just felt like blowing off some junk I picked up in the library...
