Hello from an old DC PSO player.

I loved PSO for the old DC. I hated it later on when peeps could erase your character data though. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I put alot of hours into that game because it was fun and fast to play. Same for PSO vr. 2. Later on I went to play MMORPGs on the PC. I tried EQ. But .......well it sucked.

I have been playing Dark Age of Camelot for years now. That is the perfect game to play if you are coming straight from PSO. The pvp is second to none. I also play World of Warcraft. That is an awesome game as well.

But I kind of miss the ole PSO hack and slash fun. I did not get a GC to play PSO vr.3 when I found out it was gonna be a card game. That kind of ruined it for me as I dont care for card games like that. But I came back to this site to look around for more info about Phantasy Star Universe or something and seen some info about PS0 BB.

(1) Will you be able to play this version of the game on the GC or is it just for PC? I read that if I buy it online I also get versions 1 and 2 as well. My second question would be (2)IS THE CARD VERSION OF THE GAME INVOLVED with the 1,2, and soon BB? I really dont like the card battles.

It looks like Blue Burst will only be available on the PC.

Blue Burst is essentially Episode 1&2 (the version of the game that is available for XBox and Gamecube) with server-side saving. This version of the game has proven more resilient to cheating than other versions of the game.

At the present time, it does not look like Episode 3 will be released on PC. The game didn't sell that well when it came out on console.

However, there is an expansion being released for BB called Episode 4. It features new areas, enemies, and weapons.

When exactly is BB coming out? I think I will wait for it to come out and start playing again. Drithe, have u thought about trying out xbox version of pso epI&II ? if u havnt played epII yet, u really dont know what u'r missing out dude... being old dc vets myself who chose psox to continue playing pso, i stongly believe that xbox version has number of advantages over gc version in comparison especially if u really dont wanna play this game on ur pc when psobb comes out and if u have decent entertainmt set up at home like big screen tv and surround sound system u can hook up xbox to, also its quite affordable if u can find a used copy around 10-15 bucks...if u'r hesitant in making ur own choice, then i suggest u research more info on psox on this site, search 'xbox' on this forum, or even more effectively, the mssgs i posted so far, click 'view profile' n 'search for posts by..' good luck http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

You know I have often thought about getting an XBOX just for Phantasy Star Online because the audience my be a little older, not as old as my old far self, but you get the picture. However I have heard some nasty rumors about not to many peeps actually playing it now. But then again I heard the same thing about the gamecube too. Trying to find a new copy of PSO for the gamecube is freaking impossible.
