I think Pal Rappy is extinct.

Not sure if this should be in General, if it should, sorry for the inconvenience. Anyway, my lv73 Whitill FOnewearl has been leveling up in Ultimate Forest. After looking through the drop chart, I decided my HUcaseal would like a Red Partisan (1/2 drop, Pal Rappy) Easy, I thought. How wrong I was. Ive been doing Fake in Yellow runs pretty much whenever im not J-Sword hunting. After a week and a half of runs, and piping for upwards of an hour when the line of 7 rappys spawn, I still havent encountered Pal Rappy. Im guessing it's just incredibly bad luck, but my other characters can bring up a Pal in an hour at the most. Any thoughts?
Before anyone says, I know that rare enemies are 1/512.

Rare enemies are that number so do that many pipes in a room of 9 (I think I seen)

I find it easier and more worth while if you do fake in yellow runs rather than piping in ultimate. You get about 12k-13k experience if you dont make all the rappies run, and you get tons of those Flowen Swords (MCV) for whitill, one of which is bound to have hit%. I've averaged about one run in 10 minutes with a 110ish RAmarl. Piping can tend to get boring after a while, so its just an alternative http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Ive been doing Fake in Yellow, and then in the last room, waiting for the 7 rappies, and piping there. I find it better for me to pipe in a 9-rappy room. It is the room where you meet a fake Rappy, after talking to him to get him out the way evade your way to the door that you went in to enter that room. Now pipe there near that door in that room, facing all the rappies. There will surely be a Pal Rappy after a short time if you're not too unlucky.

The 7-Rappy room is annoying, after each pipe you'll have to turn your character around to see them all.

I did the 7-rappy room because I didnt want to take the chance of having my Rafoie make them all run away :S I could probably twin-cast and catch them all, but it's a risk.

Oh, you're a FOnewearl for Whitill. Yeah, I have considered that risk so I have to be careful killing each one by one and saving the Pal Rappy for last so the surrounding El Rappies won't get in my way to whack the Pal Rappy. But give that room a try sometime.

I was piping for Pal Rappies trying to get my legit Angel Harp(Skyly). The room with 8 rappies and the professer dude is very good if you can get into a position where you see them all. After you find one, just run around the room until they get into one big bunch. Then Rafoie until they all fall. That room is great cause I noticed if you find one, and kill them all, you can go to the room with 7 in a line, and u usually get one soon after. Also noticed I get one about every 100 beats; 300 is when I usually find one.

I've learnt not to pipe for those little buggers, I just keep doing Fake in the yellow quests untill I find one. That way you get experience as well, works for me.

piping gets boring but, it takes less time than going and doing the quest over and over again and i agree with you that pal rappies are pretty much extinct (atleast in my game they are)

Wrong.

There is room with 8. That is the most you can pipe for.

As far as gettin the Pal Rappy, just bad luck. Keep trying. I had to pipe 4 hours once when I was trying to get my Standstill Shield, and the bugger stinged me afterwards too. >_<

If I were you I wouldn't pipe at all. Running the level isn't that bad. You at least get exp that way and they do show up due to the large abouts of rappies.
