I was wondering, Can I connect my BB adapter to my Laptops Ethernet cable port, The cable I have is to short to reach the router, so it could go through my laptops wireless.. so, will it work?

if you are able to setup ICS (internet connection sharing) on your laptop, then yes it should work just fine. See the STICKY (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=37273&forum=3&83) on how to set up ICS for your OS version.

I can't seem to turn on the ICS

Were you ever able to get that 2nd network port working?

Have you installed your new card yet? If not, you may have to wait until it arrives to setup ICS.

But I don't understand why it's not turning on

I believe the problem is that the computer is trying to initialize your faulty network adapter and it is having trouble doing that.
