Weapons stats and tekking

I heard if you try and tekk a weapon and it doesn't get good stats you can leave it untekked and quit and come back on and try again for better stats. Anyone know anything about this?

You don't have to quit and come back. You can just keep re-tekking the weapon over and over. Not only is there a chance for it to recieve different attributes, but it can also get a different title as well, not withstanding for rares.

Example: Lightning Shot > Tempest Shot

umm let me see if i can help, if you find a weapon and you take it to the tekker to identify it, but its stats comes out horrible, you can refuse the tekk (but you still have to pay http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif )and keep trying till you get stats that you like. I am not sure but I think the stats on a weapon you find can only be tekked 10% higher or lower than what you found it. I hope that answers your question.

Ok well another question then, I just found some yamotos with pretty good percents, not tekked, if i get them tekked will those stats carry over and can you grind an untekked weapon?

ummm ok let me try to be as clear as possible.
for example let's say you find a untekked weapon with the stats 10/10/10/10. And you go to tek it the results with range from -10...0/0/0/0 to +10...20/20/20/20. it could also go up or down by 5%. All the stats that have %'s will either go up or down Together by the same amount. Grind a untekked weapon? IMO Dont waste your grinders bro.

If you grind an untekked Special Weapon, then the Grind will carry over, and it won't be a variable (like non-Special Weapons are).
