Quake 3

I bought this game over a year ago. Installed it and played for 30 min and thought it was dumb. 3 days ago I got bored and reinstalled it and gave it another try... this game owns now http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cool.gif.

Anyone here still play this? Been hosting a server between my friends when we all want to play as of late, but chickens like Wata only pop in for 5 seconds and say they need training offline and leave 8P.

So if anyone wants to play just post here or pm mah. If you care about models I use the q3skn-undies.pk3 model of crash (not like it matters in ctf anyway, which is what I play the most of).

I play JK II, which uses the q3 engine.

I played q3 on the dreamcast, but with no bba, it made it rather difficult.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes I would be fragged by my own rockets. I would be running and shooting a rocket simultanously. Then, due to lag, my own rocket would waste me from behind.

The music on Quake 3 for the Dreamcast was alot better than the PC, though!

As for Quake 3, I have it on Dreamcast, and kick moderate ass in it on 56k. I like JKII better, though.

DVD-ROM Drive is screwed. Wont load data disks (games and such) and plays music with scratchy sound. It will start working for a while, but then it screws up again. It is also crashing alot latly.

The first time this happened i phoned up the PC World hotline and they told me to format my whole pc, that my DVD-Rom drivers had probably been messed up. Did that and the same is still happening (and i lost 23GB of data http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif ). Ill probably take it to PC World tonight and get em to have a look at it anyway.
