In the quest Seat of the heart, do I have to do the quest in order or does it matter. I wanted to get the ragol ring

Sorry about that.. I"m still a little comfused, does it matter what difficulty I'm in to get the Ragol riing? Is it worth getting?

1. You can do it on any difficulty.

2. Is it mostly a trophy item. It acts like a scape doll when you die and vanishes.
