Import or US?

Maybe someone has asked this before but which PSO are you plan on getting the imported Japanese version or the American version that are coming out on X-Box and Game Cube! I am getting the US version for Game Cube.

I can decide if I want to import for GC or not. I really would like to but I'm iffy about it. I don't want to import it and then not be able to go online because of some reason that is out of my control. I know people imported v1 and v2 and were able to get online so I'm not too worried about it.

People have imported the trial PSO E1 & 2 and got that online from the US and Europe, so you have no need to worry.

The HL will no doubt be chaper for the Japanese version. 12$ = 90 days.

And the game's been delayed, hopefully for more thorough QA and getting the bugs out of the game.

If I were to import, would I have to mess with my gamecube? To make it compatible with the Japanese game or something?

I'm pretty sure it will have the option, like it did in ver 2, to change the language to english.

u might have a problem if you import a GC BBA and use it on your US GC. But i'm not sure on this. Hopefully, someone will purchase one and inform us.

You can change the language in all previous PSO games, so no doubt this one will be the same.

And hardware (like modem and BBA) = universal/works on any console no matter what region it was bought in.

Since it's pretty certain now that the North American release as been pushed back from early October to October 29th,which isn't that bad,i will wait for the NA release.I saw that at Ling-Sang site today(maybe a typo on the site,i'll check).
