Yes, you see correctly. I got something to come out clear! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
... although the eraser shavings and flash glare kind of ruin it a little but not that much. ?_?

Now, my artwork lately has not been very... varied, but i plan on fixing that sometime in the future.
I probably won't re-post if i color it becuase it wouldnt really make it much better, I'm sure.

Oh, C&C would be nice if you dont mind. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hey nice job! That looks great!
I especially liked the shadowing on the back of the pom-pom hat thingies; I love making art, but I'm terrible at shadowing!
This is the first thing I've seen from you (probably because I'm new) but I look forward to more!

That's cute! I like the little look on her face.

If you're worried about glare from the scanner, or think your pencils come out looking too light, try to see if one of your art or photo editing programs has a Brightness/Contrast option. Using that can darken the lines and remove most of the fuzzy gray from pencil smudges and erasers marks by adjusting the contrast.
Normal Windows Paint doesn't have that feature, but most other simple photo editors or basic art programs should.

When I bought my (cheap and crappy) digital camera, it came with some programs that I still use today lol.
Personally I think the pic looks fine, but if you want to try and edit it further, the only other thing I can think of is turning it into a black and white on Windows Paint. Just click Image, Attributes, and mark the circle next to the Black and White option.
Doing that may make it turn into a thick black blob at first, since it will convert every tone to either black or white, but you can use the tools avalible to carve out the lines the way you want them.
Just don't forget to switch the attributes back over to color if you want to color it later!
