How do you delete a char?

Well you can either erase your memory from the mem card or you have to remake. There is no deleting

If you're on GC (I assume it's the same as XBox), select the character you don't want anymore, and press A. Go to Recreate. Create new character. Recreating IS deleting, you simply overwrite one character, creating a new one.

Quick question to clarify the situation:

Why would you want to delete a character?

Unless Xbox somehow handles it differently, the save file is the same size regardless of how many characters are taking up spots, as the whole file is created with the space in mind initially.
