Is it possible to get the holiday mags in offline mode also? Since I heard ONLY Eu-ship (yes, I'm from EU http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif) Is up anymore, and the others were closed http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif.... And they made it impossible to connect network without buying an addon modem or dsl/cable/T1,2,3 addon 'box', so it's hard to get to play online.

Anyone knows if this is possible? Thanks http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Unless your friend gives you something to make a holiday mag then no you cannot make one offline

Actually, I'm pretty sure DC can find them offline in VH

DC can find some cells in VH and Ult (if you have v2), but they're rare beyond words, just forget it.

I found some cell mags on DC with my HUmar character back in the day. I believe it was Mag Cell:502. I also found some other mag cell on DC but I don't quite remember what it was called and I did I sold it...(I never knew at the time how rare it was to find such a thing.)

I never really found a mag cell when I was on dc.
The rarest thing that has anything to do with mags that I DID find was a SOUND SOURCE FM. Which is a series of mag parts to a particular mag you can only get through a quest caller ragol fire swirls or something like that. The SOUND SOURCE FM will turn the MARK3 mag into a Sega Master System mag.

There's another part that I actually seen online one time that a friend of mine had which was called MODEM. I'm not for certain, but I believe that one turns the Sega Saturn mag into a Dreamcast mag.

Actually, it goes like this:

Doing the Central Dome Fire Swirl quest, you can receive the Glory of the Past item, with you can change into a mark3 mag.
Using the Sound Source FM magcell on the Mark3 Mag, you get the Master System Mag.
Using the Parts of 6800 magcell on the Master System Mag, you get the Genesis/MegaDrive Mag.
Using the SH2 magcell on the Genesis/MegaDrive mag, you get the Saturn mag.
Using the PowerVR, Modem and SH4 magcells on the Saturn mag, you get the dreamcast mag.

Obviouslt, that's all explained right here:
http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=1033

But it's kinda complicated (At least to me)...

And yes, it's possible to get all those mags (but the devils wings, eleonor and the quest based mags, when the quest is not present).
The only real problem is the droprates for the magcells are absurd.

I think Skyly has a better change to find Heart of Opa Opas... but i don't have real numbers to base that assumption...

And I will repeat.. I sitll don't believe nobody has the droprates for V2 items that was on housuka.. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Well, i play DC v2 all the time, and the cells and hearts are pretty rare, except if you see one...usally theres sereval other ones of the same type. And the heart of OpaOpa i see all the time >_<, and the cells more then ones like chao and omochao. As for the DC mags parts...extremely rare, i have all of them except the last three for the dc mag =D. Oh, and I've found most of them in Ult and some in vhard.
