Branch of Paku Paku upgrading and chao mag

So let me get this straight. The ONLY way to upgrade my stick is to wait till halloween or christmas, and then go on a hunt for a holiday rappy which "Might" drop the Heart of Chao?

Sorry I did read the guides on mag cells, and noted this.


Note:
EP 1 & 2 mag cells can only be found online from holiday rappies during certain special events/periods.Haloween mag cells can also be found from pumpkins from Jack O' Lantern Quest for JP PSO Ver 1.1 EP 1 & 2 mag cells cannot be used on mags that have previously been created using another mag cell or any 4th evolution mags including new EP 1 & 2 special mags.

Sorry if i missed something that states the obvious. I couldnt find a guide about mag cells offline, so i presume it could be an online thing online.

I read that too, and it seems that method is listed under PC and Dreamcast versions. I'm Xbox. (I noticed i forgot to mention that in the oringal post. soz

No. All you need is a Branch of Paku Paku and online access. But yeah, read the guides. I'd tell you but I don't want people getting all cranky about encouraging nonreading of guides. XP

There's an online quest, Towards the Future, that allows you to get a Striker of Chao without having to get the Heart of Chao, or use up a mag.



Striker of Chao Prize
To obtain this wild weapon, you must first need the Paku Paku weapon. At the end of completing the simulator, head towards the medical room and take the portal inside (the portal will not appear if you don't have Paku Paku on you). It should drop you off to Ruins 1. Equip the Paku Paku, and stand under the waterfall and let the water pour down on you. Messages from Chao will appear, just read them. Keep standing under the waterfall, and waiting, it will take some time. After some time, the Paku Paku will change into the Striker of Chao. If you keep standing there, a message will appear saying that Chao ran away and your Striker of Chao will be come a Paku Paku again. If this happens, don't worry, you can always turn your Paku Paku back into the Striker by standing under the waterfall again. The attributes of the Striker however, will change.


That's listed for the DC, but it should be fairly similar on the other systems. Good luck.

Unfortunately, Towards the Future was not included as an offline Plus quest. The original poster will either have to find someone willing to give him a mag cell or find a friend that can go online to make the Striker of Chao for him.
