Can i pipe rare monsters offline in multiplayer mode?

Yes. I've done it before. But it generally takes longer (since you can't use the quests).

Wouldn't that be a chore, though? Don't both, or multiple people, have to be over the same pipe or teleporter for you to teleport? Too much time!

Just do one player!! =P What's the point of dragging another person or character along?

Only for episode two rare hildes would you be able to pipe more monsters at the same time in this way. But do not bother to, even if you want to pipe those. The Hildes take several seconds to spawn, and having to switch between two controllers all the time while piping sucks badly, not to mention the splitscreen.

You can pipe in multiplayer, but the thing is, you don't want to.
