Banners ever getting fixed?

I posted this a while ago, about the top banner not loading, it still isn't loading, any idea of what the problem is?

I just Ad-block the broked images, heh. Might help page loading times.

Can you provide some additional information? For example...

Are you using the default theme?
Can you give an example of a webpage where the top banner is not loading?
What is the URL for the broken banner?

Happens on my home computer and my work computer, using both IE and FireFox.

Do you mean the headers? Mine has never loaded once since I joined up, and it always makes loading pages slower.

I've contacted Gamespy about the problem. It's a bug in the PlanetDreamcast forwarding that must have been overlooked when they fixed the image loading a while back. They should be able to get it fixed soon. Thanks for letting us know http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

This is odd, as my banner is the http://pso-world.com/headers/fonewearl.jpg
which would seem to be the same banner, but loading from the source that is currently displaying the images.

I'm also using the default theme, might want to try that as well... also, if that doesn't work, try setting your banner again... maybe it will pick up the url that's displaying properly.

I noticed that when I am not logged in, the banner works fine. After I log in, the banner doesn't load anymore.

I did a little more checking and it looks like the image problem we had a while back has returned in FULL. Gamespy is looking into the problem and should be coming up with a fix soon. The reason we are not pursuing other hosting, as somebody else mentioned, is because that would be quite an expensive venture for a site that basically generates ZERO revenue http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Plus, I've been in contact with Gamespy and am told that we have a new hosting platform in the works which should solve many of our problems and probably take us off PlanetDreamcast all together (yay). That is our main priority right now, as we would like everything to be 100% working and ready by the time PSOU hits.
