GC-Quest: Offline Rares

Maybe a stupid thought, but it seems i find more rares, more amplifiers, and more materials when i do a quest rather than normal runs.

Anybody else notice this?

No.

My personal experience says the exact opposite of yours.

Game data proves that enemy drops are the same in-quest or out.

I get the same thing with quests in the mines usually. I get jack from runs, then all of a sudden all this stuff.

it because some quest got more enemies in the rooms that free adventure, for example heart sword.

It's all luck. There's nothing that will increase/decrease your chances of finding rares, offline or on, other than the number of enemies you kill. And even then, the odds aren't raised very high for things that have insane drop rates, like Tollaw/Gran Sorcerers and such.



But on that note, I once ran a Retired Hunter quest and found 5 rares in less than 5 minutes. Nothing really good, but surprising at the least.
