Oran - Ulimate - Caves
Piping for Guard Wave from a Red Slime for about 3-4 days... and I have found 5 Red Slimes so far... all which have given utter crap. Meseta, Antidote, Meseta, Meseta... and just now, Knight/Power.... omg, this is getting rediculous. The Drop Rate for a Red Slime on Ult-Oran to drop Guard Wave is 1/2!!!! 50% chance... As if I were flipping a coin and landed on tails 5 times in a row...
I planed on getting one before my friends came to my party tomorow... this is so much crap. If I don't find one today then i'm gunna be the only one without a good armor.
My friends will have:
Sef [RAcast lvl.129]- Electro Frame (and yes, it's Sef that goes here)
Dekao [RAmar lvl.125]- Attribute Plate
Chaos [HUmar lvl.100]- Attribute Plate
Geno Leonis [FOmar lvl.124]- Ultimate Frame.... (me)

If you have PSO Plus, you're aware 1300 mags and stacks disable droprates?

EDIT: Although.. As a Force, as long as you use Deband and Jellen you should be just fine.

Ashamed to say this... but I have a 1304 mag. I use it to rush a certain ID to ultimate for findings. Once Ultimate difficulty and area desired in unlocked, I put Mag in bank and use a 200. But... you have to save and quit in order for the drop rate to return. So when I reach my area, I bank mag, quit, turn game off, go do something for a bit, then later come back and start the hunt.
My character and her equipment:
RAmarl lvl.60
Yasminkov 9000M+10
Frozen Shooter +9
Spread Needle +40 (primarly used to split slimes w/ special ability, I miss twice then fire Standard shot to split)
Attribute Plate
God/Arm
God/Arm
God/HP
God/Battle
Attribute Wall

Maybe you should drop it on the ground and quit game, or just put it on another character in a new memory card.

If it's in the bank, it doesn't effect anything anymore. However, stacks will disable rare drops on any version as far back as 1.0 on the GC.

Just something to keep in mind.

Yup, the character that I stated earlier, Chaos (the HUmar at lvl.100) he's Viridia, and I was piping for Love Rappy.... 50% chance for Agito 1980, and he screwed me over 3 times.... finally got that last week. Agito was checked off the list... and Guard Wave was next to go... and again, the rare enemies are p0wnz0rnating me... >_<

Can someone explain about the stacks messing up drop rates? Is this specific to PSO+? Also that 1304 mag is a mag with 1304 in stat points?

The 1300, 1304, 1308 etc. Mags, are Mags that people hacked to the level, 1300 etc.

They usually have like 360 in each stat thing. o.O

If you're the one to make a game, and you have a hacked Mag, or stacked items (Monomate x11 x99 x255 etc.) then the drop rate is set to zero.

This is only in PSO+ but if you're not on plus, and you join a PSO+ made game, and you have hacked/stacked things then I think the drop rates are set to 0 too.


Of course, i dunno why they didn't just make it so you couldn't hack or stack? I mean would you even want legit rares if you could hack them. X.x


I also think it happens to not-1304 hacked mags, my friend has a level 0 Sato. X.x
