I'll move to Firefox for everything once they fix all the bugs in it. Especially the annoying coding bugs. But I must say, it is a great visual internet browser.

Some fourms don't work on Firefox for some reason. I use IE only for those certian forums.

I've been using Firefox religiously since it's .8 stage, and I love it. The only probems I've had with it was losing my bookmarks and it slowly starting to eat up my memory (Someimes it gets in the 104,089K range according to Task Manager). I've been encouraging all that I know to make the switch, for the benifits are far greater than what IE has to offer. Sure there are some sites that won't show up correctly on it, but I let that slip past me.

Unfortunatly there are those who enjoy IE only because it came with the PC (My dad, who's computer is on a proverbial Iron-Lung because of the Spyware and Ad-ware i'm constantly removing from it.), They're just used to it (my dad again), OR because they just don't want to listen to a tech savvy kid (My school just doesn't get that Firefox DOES work with all of the major sites they use (I had to secretly install and check) and is therefore a much better browser than IE.)

What do you miss about Google's Toolbar?
There is the search box that is by default next to the address bar.

Have you tried the Googlebar extension if you don't like the seach box? It is endorsed by Google to an extent, and works almost exactly like IE's version (minus the pop-up blocker, since FF has that built in).

Your Dad and your school are the ones who are loosing the advantages, not you. Just wait until your father/school got a problem opening a webpage and you solve it with firefox

My favorite part about firefox has to be the extensions. For instance, I've always wanted a weather tool without having to use weather bug, and wouldn't you know it, there's an extension called fireforecast (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=398&application=firefox)that puts the forecast for the next several days in your statusbar.

I am also an adament user of adblock (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=10&application=firefox). As it is, firefox does a pretty good job of blocking pop ups, but this little tool prevents ads from even being loaded at all. I never see an ad on sites I regularly visit.

There are also a bunch of themes you can download, as well as many other extensions to increase the usefullness of firefox.

[Themes (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/themes/?application=firefox)]

I personally use whitehart (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/themes/moreinfo.php?id=364) as my theme.

I used to use it, but a lot of my favorite forums sites didn't work with it, and Download Accelorator also doesn't integrate with it, so I won't use it again until those problems are fixed, even though I did like it better otherwise.

Wow, after looking at a few themes, my love for Firefox grows.
