Hi, I need some major help getting online. Just some info you might need...
Platform: GC
ISP: Cox.net
Connection: Broadband

The problem is that I get an Error 102. I put in all the info manually and I'm pretty sure its all correct. I think the problem is I need to adjust my router so it will allow more then just my computer to connect to the internet. Please tell me how I can change my router settings or if its another problem and how I can fix it. Thanks in advance.

I had that problem a few times myself. I went back to network settings and mess around with it.

Well... How about we start here:

Do you have a router?

If your router is using DHCP to give out IP addresses to your interal computers/consoles, you will need to setup the GC so that it automatically obtain DNS and IP information.

Alright I messed with a few things and none of it worked. I tried doing that Ryna but it didn't work >_<.

Hmm..Try to ask a friend who has online connection to PSO. He or she can show you an example of theirs.

Let me ask a few questions to see if I can help you get online:
1. What type of router are you using?
2. Is Cox.net a cable or dsl broadband service?
3. Is your computer plugged into your router?
4. Are you using a wireless router?
5. Is there any text that accompanies the Error 102 message?

Can you briefly state what your solution was in case any other cox.net members have trouble in the future?

What is there to apologize about? It was hard to make any solid recommendations based on the information that was provided.

I couldn't be much of a help. You were more helpful than I was.

My router had to be adjusted to allow other devices to work on it other than the computer. Sacred don't feel bad, its the thought that counted and that's what matters most.
