Hey... long time reader, first time poster. I was just curious about something in the character section... under FOmar and FOnewearl it says that they get double the range and effect of shifta/deband, and resta/anti respectively.

I haven't been able to test it out but is it actually double the effect too? I don't play a force and I was thinking of starting one, so this would sway my decision. If it is double the effect then... besides defense and HP, what does the FOmarl have in advantages that can't already be done by any of the other Forces better?

For S/D, it's just the range, not the effect. That part is incorrect.

For FOnewearl's Resta, the EFFECT is definitely double tho'.

Nah, the effect isn't doubled. The FOnewearl's MST is just higher, hence healing more.

But MST doesn't affect the power of S/D

You sure? Hmm, I dunno, seems doubled to me... but maybe my friend just ate that many mind mats. She was a level 60 or so FOnewearl healing for my amount of Resta on my FOmar.. Over 856..

Seemed pretty crazy. Now they can heal in the 1000s..

Hmm... that's really helpful, thank you. I've never seen a Force besides a FOnewearl cast resta. Only seen Hunter/Ranger Resta, and it's pretty obvious why theres a difference there.

I've also seemed to notice that S/D's duration is doubled on FOmars and FOmarls

My FOmar's S/D is equal to my FOnewearl's S/D, both same lvl.30. Bonus's are only for DOUBLE RANGE, there isn't a DOUBLE EFFECT. The only bonus's that increase effect of a technique are the attack techniques that each Force class excels in. Here's a clarified version of the Force Technique Class Bonus's:
FOmar - Gifoie, Gizonde, Gibarta, Grants 1.3 x damage
Shifta and Deband 2x range(range +6 meters)
FOmarl - Grants 1.5x damage. Shifta, Deband, Resta, Anti 2x range(range +6 meters)
FOnewm - Gifoie, Gizonde, Gibarta, Rafoie, Razonde, Rabarta 1.3 x damage
FOnewearl - Foie, Zonde, Barta 1.3 x damage. Megid has a 1.3x increased effect of kill succession and penetrates like the effect of a laucher. Resta & Anti 2x range(range +6 meters)

Megid doesn't have have a higher success rate. It is only penetration.

The weapons that boost Megid are also penetrate only, and no higher chance of success.
