Crowd Clearing Weapon

well up till now me HUnewearl has been usinng the soul eater that i got, i justy found a Diska of Bravmen.

The diska does more damage and has range, but my soul eater hits much more often, but it won't do anough damage to be worthwile unless i have a partner.


What do you guys think i should use as my crowd clearer?

Slicers just own, use Diska of Braveman, try and find one with hit%

I'm with Kef.

DoB may be slower, but has more range, killing potential because of its special, can be foumd with hit, and can hit more targets. Go try it out on multi-target bosses. ;p

Any kind of slicer is great early on. They own the Dragon, De Rol Le.. and are pretty good against Vol Opt IMO. Even though I'm not a slicer fan, a DoB with hit would be to your advantage.

I've seen what DoBs with hit% can do. They are great weapons. Much better than Soul Eater...if your Whitill or Redria you'll find tons of them. Just make sure to check those %s before throwing them away http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I have a Diska of Braveman with 40% Hit. And it works wonders! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif For low/mid-level characters,anyway. Also if you're playing Redria,try to get the Rainbow Baton. IMO it's the best slicer.

Soul eater is fine, but if you want a Scythe, try going for a Soul Banish.

If not, use the diska.

Exactly - Soul Banish is great. I'll go along with the crowd and vote for the Diska, for its many obvious advantages.

Slicers are ineffective for thin groups of 3-4, and close groups of 5-6.

With a partisan, you can round up and chop down large groups with ease.

As a male, slicers are the pits. They suck, plain and simple.

Plus Soul Eater has a low ATP requirement. I say from 1-60 use Soul Eater. After that use DoB.

Slicers are so good that I sometimes use them over shots/needles with rangers.

The animation for male may not be good as females, but it is far from inusable. So yeah, I agree with Kef here.

I have got to see this amazing Slicer control you seem to have. There must be something to it that I don't know about.
