As I few of you might already know (Mostly frequent users from #psow ) I began moving away to another house during the past few weeks. Around four days ago we finally managed to fully un-pack everything and get the house all nice and clean, since the previous people who lived there might as well had been pigs or uncivilized cavemen (I mean, come on !! Who the fuck throws a book down a toilet o.O !?!? ). But of course this rant is not about the previous persons living there, it's about the huge rats that had made my house their "home".

I have tried countless ways of trying to get rid of them: gluetraps, springtraps, baited humane cages, poisoned baits, scented poison bait... None have given results, now I have been left with no choice but move everything out again to the old house and treat the empty house with chemicals -__-. I hate wasting weekends, I really do...

Here are some pictures of some of the damage the rats have done to my well stocked pantry.

Make no comments about my fingernails, please and thank you.

Yep, huge rats leave big holes on plastic containers, maybe I should hunt them with a BB gun ?

I am not looking foward to this week without having rice in my dinner -__-.

Heh, yeah, rats get pretty big. At one time, maaaany years ago, we had rats in our basement. Dad was stoking the furnace for the night, and he felt a "tugging" at his pantsleg. Was a rat. XD

Becareful with those chemicals though man. And maybe it's just me, but you tend to...I dunno, have a fetish with using chemicals. I mean, the last time it was the wasp nest, now the rats. =]

Personally, nothing says GTFO like burnination by fire. =D

Heh, but, best of luck. And be safe! Your luck they'll prolly have the chems pumping back to you =X

You better believe I know how to use chemicals, I had to slave over books for DAYS just to be able to get my hands on that license. That little thing gives me the right to purchase some rather effective stuff, the problem is that I have to move out while the chemicals are still going strong. = (

Fucking rats...

Eee... rats.

They creep me out (though I still kinda want one as as pet).

That sucks. We thought we had mice in our old house, but thankfully we never found any, so we weren't really sure if we had any.

I hope you get rid of the mice.
