He's basically proposing that it should be okay to post duplicate topics.

I guess he got upset when a topic of his got locked simply because there was a similar one on page 105 of the forum.

It's very unlikely that your topic got locked because of that.
Either there was a different reason, or there was another topic before the one "105 pages" ago.

How did you even find that topic from 105 pages ago and then realize that was the supposed topic, anyways?
