If you are playing GC PSO or PSOX, you can't. The droprate is set to 0%.

Olga Flow would drop it if the droprate were not set to 0%. It is set to 0% for both offline and online play.

Olga's drop rate is not set to 0%. His drop anything rate is set to 0%. If THAT were fixed then you would have like a 1/46 drop I believe.

Not currently, it is not available as a drop on BB.

I had read on an earlier post that the gene was available on BB. Now I'm reading it it not.

Has anyone broken down the drop rates for BB, particularly for the new weapons & enemies?

I think dropcharts have been put together for Episode 4, it is just no one knows what the drop rates are. You'd have to have into the servers, do a statistical sampling, or wait for Sonic Team to release the figures to know what the drop rates are.

Thanks Ryna. Does anyone know of anywhere with a decent drop chart for EpIV? I can't find one anywhere, as I previously said, a lot of the enemie's do not have an item listed, as if they have no rare drop. I suppose it could be that no-one has found them yet though. Off hand, I cant think of the forum's rules about link posting,so if it's not allowed, fair enough.

The parasitic gene in my oppinion, and all the other items that are hacked, take all the fun out of the game and you dont need the parasitic gene to beat the game or anything. Its not like is the ultamite item either. Besides, whats it really do thats so special and if the item is in fact hacked, like the other dark items, whats the point to getting them. Im mean we all kno that getting a rare wepon is a pain but really thats the fun part.... ok maybe it's not that fun but other wise theres no use in playing the game if all you do is hack.

I wonder if there is some way to add more hits to the weapons, some Spanish player dropped me a Dark Flow awhile back and I used it offline, it sucks that it only has one hit, and it's special doesn't really make any sense, it's targeting is ****ed, I stand in the middle between a horde of claws and only 3-4 outta the 7-8 get it, even though the special arks out in three waves... sorta like the old animation of the Wind Scar in Inuyasha.... I still want to see what the DM and DB are like...

You are right on Kazuma, Dark Flow is so terrible that I'd rather use a DB's Saber over it http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif. If anyone asked me to compare the "ultra-uber" Flow to any other single weapon, I'd say the outrageous Belra Cannon for being equal in crapiness.

The special really is a joke too, especially on Ultimate.
