XBox: Interesting... an android can not split a slime online

A friend of mine, Corosion, brought it to my attention that an android playing alone online cannot split a slime - period. I have verified this. For some reason, none of the known 'android splitting techniques' (fire/ice weapon, third hit of a combo, etc) work when playing alone online. HOWEVER, when another player joins the game (any class), the afformentioned tricks work! WTF? Offline an android can split slimes while playing alone, but not online. Obviously, a human/newman character can always split slimes, since techniques like Rabarta will split a slime in any situation. Weird!

I split slimes with an untekked weapon. Try special twice, then normal shot, tends to split them for me. Having said this, I did this on GC PSO, although I can't see there being a difference. For argument's sake, I used a HUcaseal for this. Given, it doesn't always work, but it seems to have a decent success ratio. I might try this out later, i'm intrigued.

Thats interesting I split a slime on occasions.

Not sure why I use everything at it and it don't split all the time

you can split slimes online with an android alone... i do occasional half ttf runs trying to get a red slime for a lavis drop. all i do is use my tekked spread needle, do a special special normal combo. Usually the first two miss and it splits the 4 slimes into 8. Its nice because the needles manages to split multiple slimes at once like rabarta can

In that case, it may just be an Xbox issue.
Can someone confirm whether or not this happens in Xbox?

Droid in Ultimate, online, with no other players in the team, splitting a slime.

I HAVE split slimes on solo TTF runs with my Racast using a charge weapon without meseta and a zalure needle. It's been a while since I've done it, but no question I was splitting slimes with my droid solo online. This was with Sitka Blue D on xbox when he was working towards his 200th level.

I'll try out my other droid chars and see if there is a difference between the classes.
