whilst looking at heyfools guides i noticed these 2 creatures on his tables. I've met merillia, meritas and mericarol, but not merickle or mericus. Where are they? are they on ultimate only or something (I havnt got to ultimate gal da val yet)?

Merikle, Mericus, Ill Gill, Epsilon, and Del Lily are in Control Tower (East/West Tower, Phantasmal World 4, maybe one or two other quests.) You won't find them offline unless you have PSO Plus.

Actually, you will find Merikle and Mericus outside of the Tower quests. They also appear in Maximum Attack v2 and the Halloween quest. However, you to be online to play those quests.

I wasn't sure about MA2v2, I dont play it much and didnt want to give false info http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif I think it's easiest to use the tower quests though, if you plan on getting rares from one of these enemies.

I believe you'll find the largest number of Mericus and Merikle in Phantasmal World #4.

If you are an offline player, you'll have buy Plus and unlock Towers quests.

Yeah, Phantasmal World #4 has a fair few of the Meri family. I think around the 4th floor has a couple? May be fifth, can't remember off hand. However, its likely anyone trying that floor would need help, with the amount of instant-death going around..

Mericus and Merikle appear in Jungle, don't they? As "rare" versions of Mericarol?

I think they may appear online during Halloween as rare variants, but they do not appear like that at any other time.

They do appear in c-mode and it makes TA a pain when you see it. If you were lucky enough to get a weapon drop and some fluids, running into green or blue does not make one's day.
