PSOBB Typing problem

When I get to the "Register ID" screen and highlight the Game ID area, I can't type.
I have pressed enough enters to know that it isn't responding to my ID entry.

I also have tried a different keyboard (didn't work)

Also I've uninstalled and reinstalled PSOBB, that also didn't work ><

If anyone has any information that can help me I thank you in advance.
