Well since i tarted playing pso i never made a RAnger.
But they see very easy to use.
I wa thinking on a Greenil RAcast because of the Rifles.
But then i Consider a RAmar with a Twin Psychogun.
I just want your opinion.
Oh and what mag stats should it have.ThX:)

The only Ranger I really use has been pretty successful with Viridia, so that's not too bad an option if you ask me. Purplenum is obviously good too, with the huge selection of mechs, etc. Also, Twin Psychogun is fairly decent, I use one on occasion, but there are other options such as the Yasminkov 9000M that are more useful in general.

For your MAG, you have to have lots, lots of Dex. Then depending on what type of style you have (secondary melee, using techs, etc.) you should go at the other 3 categories accordingly. For my Ranger I have 25 Def, 50 Pow, 120 Dex, and 5 Mind. It seems to work well for me.

For your Section ID, the following are usually recommended:
1. Purplenum - Mechguns
2. Viridia - Shots
3. Greenil - Rifles

For recommended weapons, try these:
1. Frozen Shooter
2. Yasminkov 9000m
3. Spread Needle/SRank Needle.
4. SRank Shot
5. Yasminkov 3000r
6. Red Mechguns/Charge Vulcans

For your mag, I would recommend something along the lines of 5/145/50/0. Since you are a Ranger, your ata stat will increase fairly quickly. Accordingly, it would be best to focus mostly on your mag's POW stat.

Fossil - I know it seems rather ridiculous that I would use so much Dex, but normally when I start a new character I go to town on the Mag right away. Rangers tend to gain ATA rather slowly, and my MAG is almost always done by the time I reach level 40-50. Oviously I wouldn't need that MAG at like 100+, but having that much DEX has really helped so I can pretty much any gun I have or want.

My RAmar really doesn't need this MAG anymore, but I guess I'm too lazy to start on a new one. Hope that clarifies things from being so ironic http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.

I was able to use a Spread Needle at level 40 with a 38 DEX mag. :

Spread Needle has a pretty low ATA requirement. Anyways, enough talk about my Mag and my first suggestion, because that's all it really was after all.

the higher dex gets wasted the higher you level though, so a mag like 5/150/45/0 works good for a powerful distance ranger, or if you want a lil mind you can add a bit there too.
