Welcome to the offical PSOW Team Main Thread.

The PSOW team's purpose is to unite the PSO World players into one team, expanding the website far beyond just the forum. We now have power to be able to chat with everyone all at the same time, in the end, causing the players of The PSO World to be united into a team. We meet on Hyperion 5.

I will update the team list in the following way every Tuesday and Saturday. If there are ANY errors or what you believe to be errors, please contact me via PM.

It would be nice to see the chars/section ids/levels for the PSOW members. Maybe there could be a designated day/time for updating information or something like that. Might be nice to get an idea when folks are available to get together for runs as well - just a thought.

In looking at the drop charts for normal mode, the chance to get points is pretty limited right now. The drop rate for weapons in normal mode is ridiculous.

I've been on every night trying to raise my mags up a bit, which is a little easier to do solo, but I'm up for some group runs if anyone is interested. Sitka Blue (Whitil, Hucast) has all the govt. quests done. I also have a Hucaseal (Skyly), Fonewearl (Purplenum) and Fonewm (Redria).

That's what I was planning to do. Everything is easy to do, all except finding the level. I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to get all the levels, I think I'll just PM everyone.

Reread your post, and I have to say that's a great idea. Everyone should post what days and times are best to meet up.

Some fun last night, but I'm still trying to figure out what happened on that last warp. I was sure we had all the monuments read - oh well, I'm up for tonight if you're on. Picked up a nice 30% hit sniper for you (Get - Game)this morning if you want it.


My schedule pretty much sets up for play like this:

All times Pacific Standard Time:

Saturdays: Early morning 6-10 a.m. and eve 6-10 p.m.
Sundays: Early morning 6-10 a.m. and eve 6-10 p.m.
Mondays: Eves 6-9 p.m.
Tuesdays: Eves 6-9 p.m.
Wednesdays: Eves 7-9 p.m.
Thursdays: Eves 6-9 p.m.
Fridays: Eves 6-11 p.m. or so

Chars as of today:

Sitka Blue - Hucast - lvl 33 - Whitil
Sitka - Hucaseal - lvl 4 - Skyly
Sitka Fo - Fonewearl - lvl 1 - Purplenum
Sitka++ - Fonewm - lvl 1 - Redria

The Fonewm is my rotating slot for challenge, mag raising and rare hunting. The other three will be the long-term projects. I'm currently focusing on Power/Luck mats and can exchange all other mats with those interested. Same for weps, units and equipment. I'm focusing on hunter stuff now and can exchange everything else. I have several 30% hit weps and some 3-slot frames/armors for team members who need them.

I heard Ashcroft got the team its first point yesterday - congrats. The best I've picked up thus far was a Sacred Guard off a Bulclaw (1/7448) which I would gladly exchange for an invisible guard or an s-parts if anyone is interested. Got my second Al Rappy this morning (2 x star atomisers) and got a Nar Lily two days ago (Angel Mind). Have also gotten Barta Amp and BLUE BARRIER which I made a Barta Merge out of. Those items went to Notos for his force.

I'm usually on during the daytime ( 1:00PM ) to night time ( 7-8:00PM ), then sometimes on after 1:00AM...all on a saturday. Sometimes I'll be on Fridays till whenever I fall asleep....or get bored.I get on around 7-8PM on Fridays...

I'm picking up several 4-slot frames and lots of decent weps/techs so teammates give a holla holla if you need something.

Wow, we picked up team points REALLY fast last night, from 2 to 80 in one day?

Now for AOL Cup! My God, we've got people who love the cup.. we hope to make a comeback. We're ranked 13, and have a LONG time to make a comeback. With the latest addition of Lun, we have a good chance of it.

Hey Ian,

I can run normal MA runs with either my Racaseal (who will pause occasionally to feed mags and scamper around to pick up mag food) or either of my forces.

I'm still interested in calling for that s-parts ver2.01 if that's okay. I would really like to put it on my Hucast. I also have some force stuff/melee weps and tech discs if you need some to make your force survive a little easier.

I'll try and be on later tonight.

Anyone else having problems getting kicked off? I've been bounced out of games several times both last night and this morning. Annoying really.

Sitka Blue is currently at level 66. I'm seeing lvl 13 discs drop pretty regularly now as well as pallaschs, railguns, and even vulcans. Bank usually has charge, shadow and sometimes even dark weps with %s as high as 40, so let me know if you guys need something and I'll keep an eye out for it.

I'm seeing lots of rare mechs, slicers of assassins, and a couple of inferno bazookas off Hildeblues, but nothing with great percents as of yet. I'm converting most to points, but let me know if any of you are looking for anything in particular.

So far Rappy's Fan and Inferno Bazooka seem fairly good as far as 10 star drops. Some rare enemies also drop 10 stars, but eh.

Also, while some sites list the EP1 boss drops as 10 stars, they are actually 9.

I've been thinking about Ian's post:

I played every version but the cards and I like this version the best. So far, and time will tell, the cheating has been managed well.

The cheating on dc was sick, the problems with gc the same and it's a joke on xbox.

And, (I know it's early), but the folks behind this version do seem to be listening, responding and far more active than ever before.

I like the team concept as well. On the other versions, I had to constantly sell rares or dump them. Here, there's a value - even to the point of giving up tradeables (I've trade in multiple Bazookas thus far) for the benefit of the team.

I do apologize for not being as available to team members for runs lately. I have been trying to raise mags and play a bit between a very busy home/work life and have had trouble committing to team play as much as I like.

As for team play, Rigsta, Bananna and Notos are some of the best "team" players I've yet to play with. Not over-confident, but smart and excellent players and there's never a problem with everyone sharing equally - if not in this game, then the next. Pleasure to play with you guys.

Get: I like the people on this team and hope we can stick together for a while. I'm looking forward to playing much more with everyone for as long as we're all involved with Blue Burst.

And Ian, sad to see you leave. Hope to see you again in the future.

By the way, Sitka, sorry I missed your post the other day. I really appreciate positive things being said about the team and haven't heard any real complaints. Plus, I'm glad we're all getting along now, I know of nobody who has a grudge against someone on the team, so we're well rounded.

Hey all, slight problem.

I cant use my notebook until HP gets it back to me. I've got it under waranty thankfully, but I've got to send it in. Problems with speakers and headphones. Huge mess, and even muted, it makes sounds. Scratchy sounds.

So, in short, I'll be on the desktop for awhile.. meaning that I'll be on till only 12 instead of like 2.

I don't really like BB's system of trying to find people online, i don't know if GC was like xbox, but the guild list used to show if someone was online or not. With either the team list or the guild card list you can never tell whose on. Hey, I'm 2 hours late. My computer has crashed on me, and I was unable to get on BB. I'm installing it on this computer, and will be on soon...

EDIT: I'm having even MORE problems now, I'll try and get back later. This is huge, my other computer won't even let me log in.

EDIT2: Tons of work files are close to being deleted. This is NOT good. I'm working till this is fixed... might go on afterwords.

EDIT3: Well, I worked forever and fixed it. But, for some reason, it won't let me into Reigonal and Language Options.

EDIT4: It let me into the options. Yay! But now lass.exe or something is giving me errors and going into a loop. Damn it!

Update on Chars:

Sitka Blue - lvl 81, Whitil Hucast
Sitka+++ - lvl 32, Oran Racaseal
Sitka+ - lvl 31, Redria Fonewm
Sitka+++ - lvl 1, Viridia Fonewearl

The Racaseal is primarily my mag farmer (currently raising 11 mags right now: 9 pow/dex nidras/ratis/satos and 2 185 mind sonitits), the Fonewm will hunt down God Battles and Redria drops and the Fonewearl is a changeable char for mag evolving. The Hucast is the primary char for MA runs, leveling and hunting down good stuff.

I get a lot of email while mag farming and I'm sorry I can't break away for runs. If I'm at home working or doing housework, I'll often log in to try and keep the mag feeding schedule going, but I'm not always available for game play.

I should be more available once I get all these mags finished. Hope to see you all this weekend.

I logged in this morning and my 332 points had just become 0. That's right, my point total was cleared.

What happened?

I picked up another 11 or so points this morning, but why am I starting from scratch again?

I'm thinking of all the trades I've forgone to give the team points and wondering if it was all just wasted.

Unfortunate this is.

They are banked basically, i guess every month they 'reset' and are banked. That way teams can't run away early on and not be catched. keep things interesting. We still have all our points though.

Update on my chars:

Sitka Blue - Hucast - Whitill - LVL 85
Sitka++ - Fonewm - Redria - LVL 32
Sitka++ - Hucastal - Yellowboze - LVL 30
Sitka Fo+ - Fonewearl - Oran - LVL 1

I made some changes on my characters after having obtained the mag cells I wanted and in anticipation of both c-mode and episode IV drops. I'm now pretty much set for PSOBB, so if you need to hunt in a specific id that i have, pm me. I'll get all four chars into ult asap, so i can hunt in any of them.

It would be nice Get if we could organize our team to ensure that all character classes and section ids are covered for hunting and for quests like Maximum Attack to obtain hearts.

Banana went a bit crazy on pts this past week - congrats. I tried to catch up, but 12 FIY runs netted me ONE Rappy Wing. Interestingly enough, in taking my hucaseal through the govt quests, I encountered 2 hildeblues, 1 pal rappy, and 2 Nar Lilys - too bad they were all on normal mode.

See you guys online when the servers are back up.

Update on Banana and I:

We've both got characters set up for Episode IV, but for what we're both hunting for requires the boss expansion. What is that, 3k team points we need? This brings our team point goal to 4,500 points that need to be reached before 7-9-05.

I'll be doing some hard runs, then in 3 days, I'll be working on VHard runs.

EDIT: Ah, Sitka, I've got some code that I'll be adding soon. Probably Wednesday now, but I just need to set up a one page wiki for us, so we can edit our own stats, characters and such.

Trying like hell to get some team points, but somebody turned the damn rappy wing faucet off. My last 36 FIY runs have netted me a total of 3 rappy wings. Boring as hell.

dude, I'm gonna be off my new pc for a little while now. I THINK (keyword: think) that my problem is that my power supply isnt strong enough. I'm going to order a new case (seeing as how cases and power supplies cost relatively the same amount) and see what the deal is after that. I thought it might be good for all our members to update on their levels, section ids, and current status. It would be nice if we're searching for an exclusive rare on a specific id if we know which teammate has that id so we can ask for help setting up a game.

If you read one of the earlier posts, there is no id switching in BB. Whoever sets the game, that is the games id until a new game is set.

So if I want to hunt an item that is pinkal only, I can ask a teammate to set up a game for me and then either join or go on his/her merry way so i can hunt the item.

It would also be nice if we have all character classes and section ids covered for later quests.

Oh and, why are we nearly two months into this game and some teammates have yet to post a single team point?

Just curious.

Hey everyone, I just bought a Radeon something-or-another with 256mb for $150. Unfortunatly, I won't be able to use it on my laptop. I just put it in this computer, and it's running very well.

Well, it turns out the desktop I put the video card in was ancient, as in 512 Ram, and a Radeon 512 as well, in turn, it should have been decent. Well, it WAS my prcocessor - it clocked at 477 mhz, my god. Old first Celeron Processor.

Hey everyone, I'm back online yet again with some good news-- I'm planning on selling my laptop and getting an AMD Athlon 64 type computer, with AWESOME specs: 2.0 Ghz, Hyper Transport, No Video card At the moment, but will be sufficient to run at High Setting anyway, but CCA will lag a bit. Total cost to me: Around $500, but should be covered with laptop sale ALONE!

Kef clued me in on this last night as he was proudly displaying his Kusanagi to me - beautiful saber btw and with Demon's special to boot - I gotta get Yunchang.

Those of you than know me, know that I'm a partisan/sword freak. I made my yelloboze hucaseal for challenge and for hunting the LAME D'ARGENT to eventually get EXCALIBUR, the best sword in the game.

Then Kef pointed out that kicking ze boota's ass in hard mode might eventually give me.....

I'm really looking forward to that Episode 4 boss - just picking up rares in Ep 4 is ... well ... not happening. I've made 28 runs of 9-4 thus far and have 4 pds to show for it - nothing like getting pd'd by Ze Bootas, let me tell you. Not even a stinking box rare.

If there's a challenge mode for Episode 4 I've got a leg up as I now know EVERY STINKING SPAWN on the four stages thus far. I've also figured out some decent strategies for wasting most of the enemies while taking minimal hits.

Still, not getting much in the way of team points. Hmmm....YUNCHANG or team pts .... maybe a bit of both. Anyway, update on chars as of this morning:

Hey all, guess who!?

Problem: Missed update
Problem: Laptop Gone

Desktop half way done, but things they were supposed to have in stock aren't in, eg. 939-socket x64 Athlon, and alongside that, no XP x64. He did get me hooked up with a better graphics card than I put on that 477MHz desktop I had, so I'll be really happy. This will be a great gaming machine, and hopefully better than that last POS Laptop.

(By the way, I plan to make the computer PSO themed by adding custom crap to the case, like the item boxes in PSO and the logo. We'll see how that goes. Anyway, sorry to everyone again, but looks like the EARLIEST, if I'm very lucky to get on would be Saturday, but for them to open up all their boxes and stuff, and recieve their next shipment will most likely be Monday.

Tried getting on last night, but it crashed for no reason when I was in CCA. Funny thing is, was that I was in there for awhile until it crashed a few minutes later.

Anyway, I'll be posting using PSOBB Update 1.1 this week. Maybe I'll release my source code, even though it won't really work (last many updates I've been doing with notepad and calculator)

Anyway, I'll be on every once and a while this week. Please tell me if you want the leader status transferred temporarily until Saturday/Sunday or Monday depending on what happens.

Alright, simply put: PSOW is a group of people who represent PSOWorld. Have you seen the rules here? We cannot go onto PSO and be all like "omg go onto the servers and diss jews" and wave a Hi symbol with a swastika on it, and then while doing this, have the PSOW symbol above our heads. It'd make PSOW look like a pile of crap.

We want a team with respect for others, respect for the game, and that are damn well fun to play with, and right now, we're doing an awesome job.

What do you all think about having a meetup day on a weekend morning? And then maybe having a set night like Thursday night as a Quest(and eventually challenge) night?

The reason I'm asking is meet-ups during the week have been tough for me, usually falling on days that I'm still at work. Saturday mornings early are usually good for me to commit a bit of time and Thursday eves are usually ok as well. That gives us the rest of the week to pursue our individual hunts, raise mags, level up or whatever.

I would also like to see some type of goal (emphasis on goal, not expectation) for team members points wise like try to contribute one point per day or something like that. If you get a few points behind, you run a quick fiy or lhs and pick up a 10 pt rare and you're all good. With only a handful of us contributing points, it's going to be tough to get the Episode 4 boss or other team expansions.

Yunchang hunt is .... continuing. Well over 2,000 ze bootas with no luck. And thinking about that, I've seen many posts for most of the available Ep 4 rares, but have yet to see a single one for Yunchang - has anyone seen anyone with this rare yet?

Heh, sorry guys. Kinda went offline surprisingly again. Thank you computer problems. I had to get a new modem, it was causing problems with my video card, wtf.

Anyway, I see that they released the boss now, time to hunt! I'll definatley be online tonight.

Finished all the Ep 1 and Ep 2 VH gov quests solo. Timed spaceship, seabeds and Flow were bitches, to say the least - but my good ole Hucast with his trusty Bravace (rewards from the chick on Ep 2 gov quests) and Last Survivor did it. Had a hell of a time with Flow when he went orange and kept turning me into Flowen, but I as able to finish him off with that mighty sword - nothing beats a good sword!

Now I'm working through the desert quests solo and holy moly, there are some tough critters down there. Wouldn't mind some company, especially someone who can keep the poor droid provided with some decent support juju.

Shout out Tomeeboy - It was fun playing with you and Corey last night.

Let me know when you want to start blasting through Episode 2 and 4. I've got both of them pretty well wired at this point, so I can force for you and the team if you want. Episode 2 is my personal favorite area and Flow is my favorite boss in the game.

There are a couple of tricky timed stages, one in Temple and one in Spaceship, that are best done with a team and run TA style, so having a force can be very helpful.

Episode 4 is pretty tough, even in the lower difficulties, but that occasional red box is ver nice when you do get one to drop (how the hell did you get a Yunchang on your third run Corey? I'm at 220+ runs and all I've got are 10 pds!!!).

Nice update Ban. The team is filling out nicely with some great new additions.

whoops - theres a messup in that update that I obviously copied from Get (muahahahaha). Get gave leader status back to Mix after he got his Hunter's Liscence, so T1K isnt a leader anymore. It's also possible, if you like, to add whoever you personally feel would fit well, and then inform Get of those people. Then, when he has the chance, he could remove members that cause trouble or whatever, or if more room was needed.

Might sound too harsh though, so I don't know if that'd be something you'd care to do.

But it's sort of what I did back when there was only a few members still and we were trying to start up the build. Seemed to work alright at the time.

A few pages back, we kinda talked about a system that would involve the member leaders voting on new members. Everyone seemed to like the idea but it was never put into place. It would be nearly impossible to get everyeone to vote, hell, theres still a ton of people i have yet to meet and im on quite a bit. Maybe the team leaders do it, and keep the rest of the team updated via team chat or PM.

Also, there probably needs to be a clear cut type of "guideline" with being a member. I mean, everyone probably has an idea, or an assumption, but it needs to be said so that theres no confusion in case something happens. We need to accept that responisibility especially representing something bigger than ourselves, PSO-WORLD.

I would also recommend anyone who's interested in joining, try to get in some games with us. 90% of us are on hyp5, or soloing in oceanus.

I know we have the WIKi...but i was wondering if we'd still like to have some forum space. I have more than i know what to do with and i think it would be fun to have a corner to do some general bullshitting, planning hunts...i find them a little less informal. If not its fine, its not going anywhere, its just there if we want to use it.

The change had some unwanted side effects... I'm going to put a temporary fix in place real quick. Everyone on the site will be able to see the PSOW Team forum, but access will still be restricted to invited members only.

When I move to BB, I was planning on joing the PSOw Team. But as you can see I am already on the RR and this site does not allow a member to be on more than one team.

Maybe it would be best to allow the forum to be public, so people like me for example, could browse and still be "part" of the team?
