Is it possible to obtain Grass Assassin's Arms ==> Sabers in the US PSO BB open beta? I'm not sure if Episode II is required or not.

Well, at least according to that guide, it is possible to find Grass Assassin Arms in Normal and Hard mode

Yes, but the open beta is incomplete and the weapon is listed as a "twin sword" type, and I'm not sure if that requires Episode II (since I don't remember it being in the DC ep 1).

It's new to Episode 1 & 2, but other than the lack of the actual Episode, it still is technically the GC/XBox version, minus all the stuff taken away.

It should be possible.

It is possible, but a hard droprate on Normal. Best you look for them on Hard if possible.

Yeah definitely on hard mode, the chance is 1/10,000 on normal D: Compared to 1/128 in hard.

EDIT: Just found it, so I guess that answers that question XD
