Your doctor advised you to do this, to be more healthy?

Just make sure to vary your exercise regimen(weights/running/etc.) and diet so you don't just put on way too many empty calories/fat, in all the worst places.

And don't have a heart attack either.

Ever watch the eating McDonalds for 3 meals a day documentary, "Supersize Me" ?

Don't turn into that guy.
I lost a bit of weight, I don't even want to think of gaining it back. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_no.gif

Yeah, you can gain fatty weight by eating so much food. OR you could try and get muscle weight.

Not only will you be heavier, you'll be stronger too. So you can like, kick ass if you are lifted.

Tingle got it. Don't eat gross food. Eat healthy, and work out. Not only will you gain weight FASTER (due to build up of heavier muscle tissue), but you'll be HEALTHIER while you do it (as opposed to gaining fatty tissue).

But, you need to build up fat for your muscle to grow. There has to be something to build on. Chances are at 105 pounds, you don't have much hanging on you, unless you are like 3 feet tall.

Gaining weight eating junk food damages the body a bit, and can have some other side-effects. Eat junk food, but little by little. What I do recommend is training the muscles. Push-ups, lift-ups, jogging, etc.

Yea muscle weighs twice as much as fat does. Also everyone has some amount of fat so the muscle does have something to build on.

A peanut butter sandwhich before bed, and a protein shake then and or after lifting will get you on your way. I try and drink one immediately after lifting, and then eat a good dinner. Eating a good breakfast is extremely important as well, for nutrition and weight-gaining purposes alike. If you really want to go the extra mile, you could also eat a protein bar mid-morning as that helps with the weight. Anyways, good luck in your endeavor, I've been somewhat following the above for a few months and have seen pretty decent results. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Eat and sleep, cant stress that enough...

Eat a meal, Take a nap.

But if you want to do it right, lift some weights and eat complete meals and not just junk foods....

as for the weight lifting. lifting small weight in many repetitions tones you down, so do just the opposite to gain mass.

Id rather gain 10 pounds of muscle than 20 pounds of fat.

Its kinda hard to get 'thicker' by just your normal pushups/curlups/etc. Since like anubis said, long multiple sets of easier exercises tone your body for stamina; Whereas short sets of intense excercises rip your muscles, causing more to grow over that, bulking you up in no time at all.

Seriously though, muscle weight is much more usefull than fat.

Instead of trying to gain fat, you should focus on trying to gain muscle. Try going to the gym and lifting weights. Heck, just running around your neighborhood will cause you to gain muscle.

Toned muscles simply mean you're in shape, versus ripped which basically refers to being able to see a lot of definition due to low body fat. You probably meant to say that you don't like overly bulky, insanely muscular guys perhaps?

Yup.

Well, whatever makes a person happy is what's right for them, though.

Eat as much protein as you can. It's healthier versus eating tons of fat.

I think that's an okay idea. I'm about 2 years younger than you and male and without being fat I am 5'7' 150lb So I think 125 is a great goal from where you're at. Good luck, man.

mayonnaise sandwiches with avocado slices, tomatoes and lettuce (because we need some nutrients besides vitamin lard), and bacon. BLT w/ avo+mayo, mmm, delish. wash down with cheesecake and buttermilk. i can teach you the finer points of gorging... follow my wisdom to the path of plumpness, my child.

oh yes, strictly no aerobic exercise. you want to retain weight. maybe a push up or two, but no jogging. if you have built up energy and are going crazy how to use it... go cook something and eat it http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif. very secret mystery revealed in there. exercise your jaw. oh and tv and sitting in commuter traffic helps.
