how to use photon chains?

Well, since it doesn't look like you got it the first time, and ol Skorpy didn't help you, I'll see what I can do.

First off, you need more than one person, and everyone's gauge must be full. If you want to use your PB but the other people aren't full, they can still "boost" your PB but hitting end on Blueburst and Y on Gamecube. That gives 10 off of your PB bar every boost, and the person who boosts gets exp for any enemies you kill with your own PB, as well as the effects of Shifta and Deband if the PB used was the Twins.

Anyway, the way to chain is to have everybody ready, and to figure out that you are not all going to use the same PBs. The key is to use different PBs. The first person uses theirs, and you know how there's that brief pause when the magic circle comes out and the powering up sound? You have THAT little brief space to set off your other PBs. A chain must be done quickly. So it's a good idea to try and plan it ahead of time.

It can be used for chaining damage, or to maximize the effects of the twins, which is really nice. But if you mess up a chain, don't let it get to you. Best thing about them is that you can always get them again. ;o
