Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't last until the 20th.

AOL Maximum Attack Update

The AOL Cup comes to an end June 13! Players have successfully reached the 20million point milestone yesterday securing a Mag Cell 213 for all Beta players. Congratulations everyone!

Also, players who were lucky enough to land on 100,000 point milestones will be awarded a special prize! Check your standings in the individual milestones here:

http://www.psobb.com/community/quests/aolcup/memorial_01.html

Our Team Contest continues to run with New_Legacy in the lead! Announcements of the winning team will be presented at the end of the contest.

Prizes for all players are to be awarded on June 20. Be sure to keep a free inventory space open to receive your prize. We will have updates running for this when the time comes. Congratulations again, and happy questing!

If they waited until later to start the Cup when people were leveled higher, we might have gotten more... Oh well, too late now. Maybe for Maximum Attack version 2.

As a special bonus, we are going to award a special item to each person who is lucky enough to hit the counter on an even increment of 10,000. The item will be awarded at the end of the event. Good luck!

So is it 100,000 or 10,000? Cus if its 10k thats doable... for me at least ^_^

Bah. Got into it too late. Definetly not enough time to either get the 100k or the Gold Shield. Blech ><

Russian, it only takes 6 hours to get 81 bronze badges if the other person lets you have all 7 of them. So you still have time to get gold shield. Besides, you like nuking things to kingdom come. You *need* to nuke things in MA when you split up.

And grrr... Must resist urges to stalk Kunoichi00, Kef and A-P... http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

LOL Thanks Notos http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif Problem is I have nobody to play with. Two days ago I found my first person to actually do the AOL Cup with. I have 2 silvers and a bronze badge and that's it >_>;

Any volunteers wanna run on AOL with me? XD

The problem is not finding people who are willing to run MA. The problem is that most people just loot all the badges and won't share. I played a few times with strangers and they just loot all of them. Now I only solo it or play with friends. You can get 4 badges by soloing, so it's still pretty good.

Would you be willing to show me/tell me how to get 4 badges solo? I can't seem to be able to get them.

Here is the recipe for getting 4 Bronze Badges by yourself:

1. Play on Hard Mode.
2. Kill 500 enemies.
3. Get the badge in the final room of mines (after you kill the final spawn of 5 Sinow)
4. Wait for the time to expire.
5. Go back down to the "secret room" to claim your final 3 badges.

Thank you. Now I just have to figure out how to kill 500 enemies by myself http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

I wrote that...

Killing 518 monsters while soloing MA1:

Forest 2:
-Clear first big room.
-Clear the side room on the east, do not forget the Hildebear (Hildelt).
-Head towards the dome, take 4 steps in to the room and leave -- that makes a Monest (Mothvist) spawn, that you will get later, saves time.
-Head straight from there into the Gigobooma (Tollaw) room.
-Clear the room north.
-Clear the room with the 25 Boomas (Bartles).
-Go to the room west of here and take the warp to the dome.
-Take the new warp immediately on your right.
-Kill the Monest (Mothvist) and all the Savage Wolves (Gulgus).
-Re-warp to the dome, clear the two rooms, warp to Cave 3 from here.

Cave 3:
-Clear the first three rooms.
-Go west to clear 2 rooms containing Evil Sharks (Vulmers) and Poison Lilies (Ob Lilies).
-Drop 4 items on the switch, clear the 3 rooms, warp to Mine 2.

Mine 2:
-Clear the 1st room, it will save time if you know the spawn pattern.
-Clear the dark room, if you're not an android, either have a trap vision or know where the 4 slow traps are.
-In the next big room, take the warp, kill all monsters, and immediately take the north door (beware the Foie traps).
-Clear the 2 rooms and return to the room with the warps.
-Go straight south through the wall.
-Clear the small room, watch out for the 4 Garanz (Baranz) spawn.
-Next big room has 5 slow traps that fire up without waiting time, and a lot of Garanz (Baranz).
-Go through the wall near the door whence you came in.
-Clear the 2 remaining rooms, the last room has 6 annoying confuse traps.
-Take the badge in the small room.
-Wait.

If you are short on time, the italicized part contains exactly 18 monsters, so it can be skipped, you would kill exactly 500 monsters, then.

I also have a guide to killing 564 monsters, which is the max if you solo that quest, but I can do it with a Lv 107 RAmarl, see?

If he is able to fight his way to the end of Mines, he will be able to earn at least one badge.
