PSOBB: What's Sacred Guard supposed to do?

My friend just got one and says he still gets paralyzed and frozen regularly... Am I missing something?

On V1 and V2, it prevents status effects. For every version of the game since then, it just prevents poison.

Also, the ELT boost can be helpful on Hard and Very Hard Mode falz.

I also heard that Sacred Guard can be combined with Heart Key to make a Love Heart--- is this true?

Love Heart (frame) is Spirit Garmet + Heart Key
Safetey Heart (barrier) is Invisible Guard + Heart Key

Sacred Guard is not used in any combinations it seems.

Sacred Guard used to be so cool: built-in State/Maintenance meant you could have 4 free slots for decent units! So sad that they got rid of State/Maintenance (and Trap/Search) !
