well i ALMOST bought my hunters lisence today. but all the negative commentary on the GC cummunity is making me shy away from it. i remember in my first question on this topic i had someone say play japanese servers. i can access those even here in america? basicly i'm looking for the safest way possible to keep my character and items, without AR i know it s a risk but keeping my spoils and time spent safe is still important. thanks guys, and this will be the last time i ask a question of this sort, since i'll be online soon or i wont and that'll be that. thanks again.

Yes, you will be able to play on the JP servers, even if you live in America. You'll be given a "JP Ships" choice on the ship selection menu.

As for all the hackers, you should be ok if you stay way from the crowded ships. I've played some on GC PSO over the last few days and haven't had any problems.

Also, remember that your first 30 days are free.

There are a lot of things to try online, so don't let a few cheaters scare you off.
