PSOBB: ID most likely to find Heaven's Punisher?

Obviously it's impossibly rare either way, but just wondering if there is a preferred ID for this... When I chose Purplenum for my Ranger it seemed like the best one for finding an HP, but I didn't realize how uncommon Mericarols were (Blueburst being my first PSO).

Just wondering if there's an ID most likely to stumble on one?

Heaven Punisher is not really worth hunting unless you wanna show off to your friends that you have a nearly impossible rare to find. I found one on GC with a Whitill, completely random from a Sinow Blue.

Bluefull is not bad, 1/205 from a Hildetorr.
Skyly isn't too bad, for a Heaven Punisher, around 1/22000, from Sinow Spigells
Purplenum is not too bad, 1/12603, from Mericarols.

Bluefull also finds it off the ep4 boss.


And Hrigg, mirumaruto is actually a nice combo with Heaven's Punisher. so its no longer just a gloat rare. Its now half a pair of mechguns.

If the drop Tancient mentions is too hard, Purplenum is the easiest.

Not sure about GC quests as I left early, but on BB now theres quests with 5 or 6 mericarols, which would help.

Yeah, I believe the quest mentioned is 7-1? However, that would mean completing Temple, Spaceship to get to it.

IIRC, you get 4 Mericarols in a short period of time.
1 Meri, then 1 Meri, then 2 Meris.

Bluefull Kondrieu drops HP at 1/64. I have a Purplenum, but I think the Bluefull Torr drop is pretty nice. Even if the Meri drop may be better, it's good to be able to switch to Bluefull whenever you see a random Torr pop up. ;o

Btw Mirumaruto (Mille Marteaux?) sells for 1 (one) Psycho Wand.

Damn, I hoped the drop wouldn't be that bad on Condrieu. I might be better off sticking with Towards the Future then...

Hildetorr is a rare enemy. Appearance rate of the rare enemy times the drop rate gives an idea of the items rarity 1/512 * 1/205 = 1/104,960.

Seem common now?

Uhh... you people do realize the rare enemy appearence rate has been uped in BB, right? Some estimate it to be 1/256 now as opposed to 1/512. Going by the popular theory of BB rare enemy apperience rate being 1/256, The chance of it dropping overall would be 1/52480 now instead. Agian, this is assuming the popular theory is right.

Ahh, but sometimes people do strange things, like studying in a foreign country just so that they can do what they really want to.

But anyway, I think the 1/64 drop rate on HP is unfair. All other drops seem to be 1/22 or about, so why make an exception here? Maybe Condrieu isn't all that rare?

And damn it, I need a skyly. I want the purple heavenly battle armor and the best shield....
