I got an IM today, it was my cousin. She asked me, "Does it cost money to upgrade the internet?".

Me: "excuse me?"

her: "can you upgrade the internet for free?"

Me: "Uhh, no. You wouldn't want to upgrade the internet anyways." (I thought she was talking about her isp - she already has cable)

her: "Oh. Cause I have internet 4.something and I wanted a higher number"

Me: "Ok"


And she is a mac user! I gave her a link to a newer version of mac IE explorer.

I just found this converstion a bit interesting.

That would be the nice thing to do. But, according to all those Mac commercials they air on TV, they seem to have designed Macs for use by simple people.
