View Full Version : EP3-Card: Was this just lucky?

I did a little bit of the Heroside story last night, and did the missions up to where you unlock Orland and the others. I got a B rank in a battle, and 4 of my pack were 'R'' cards, none worse than R2. In every other pack, I've never had that many rares.

Was it just luck, or does it have something to do with the fact I hit lv21 in that battle?

You can expect to start finding other R2 and R1 cards now that you are past level 20. You may even find your first S rank card pretty soon.

I once had a pack give me nothing lower than R1 ;o Yes, that's right, 3 S, 1 SS and a couple other R1s.

; I had 3 of each S/SS, and enough of the R1s already, but that's an example of what can happen.

Wow, that's amazing =O I still get loads of N4 cards though, will they ever start to thin out?

They won't, really. Although, as you get more N4s, they start to transform more often, giving you higher ranked cards in any case. Just make sure that if you have 99 of a card, to delete a few. 99 of a card doesn't transform.

Arislan are you saying that if you have 99 of a card it wont transform anymore?

So, what your saying is, if you had any lower than 99 of a card, then it will transform? Or was 99 an example? Sorry, I got confused there.

yes any lower than 99 of a card will have a chance of transforming.

I'm unlucky compared to you guys. I keep on getting the same cards, and guess what? I don't even get N4 that I'm missing! Isn't that just anoying?

Keep in mind that a few of the N4 cards are "super-rare". If you are playing offline, you probably won't see them.

Each time you draw a card, it has a chance of transforming into another card.

If a card is about to transform, it will start to glow. At this point, the transformation can either fail or succeed. If it succeeds, you'll get a "rare" card that wouldn't normally show up in card packs. If it fails, you are stuck with the pre-transformation card. You can read up on the particulars here:

You've been playing online. That festival from April or May is still up which give you a chance to get all the '+' SS cards.

Sharky, I think that was intended to be a permanent change. There really wasn't any mention of a Festival occuring during the April update.
